Mel joined the team recently but has been working in Dentistry for a number of years, first as a dental nurse and has then qualified as a Dental Hygienist and Therapist in 2022. She has a very calm and competent manner with patients and feels that it is important for patients to have a stress-free appointment!

She loves spending time with her little girl and enjoys socialising, listening to music and attending festivals and gigs.

Jo is a highly accomplished and experienced hygienist. Having completed her hygiene studies at Cardiff University Dental faculty in 1988, she furthered her education to obtain a diploma in dental health. Jo has gained her experience over the years working in Private and National health practices in the Hampshire area. In particular, Jo is dedicated and experienced with helping nervous patients regain their confidence. She has also worked alongside a periodontist helping patients with advanced gum disease. Jo lives in Winchester with her two daughters. In her spare time she enjoys walking, watching live music, going to the theatre and practicing yoga.

Jenny Lown joined the Westgate team in 2023 as a receptionist and we are very lucky to have her on the team! She likes spending time with her family and taking her dog for long walks.
